For thirty years, DeHoff & DeHoff, PC has served clients across Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. What began as a single office has grown — quietly, carefully — into a two-location practice built around the same principles we started with.
DeHoff & DeHoff, PC was founded in 1996 by Ed DeHoff — a second-generation CPA himself — with a simple premise: serve clients the way a small family firm can, and never outgrow the relationships that matter. Thirty years later, that premise still shapes everything we do.
Today the practice spans two offices and three generations of DeHoff accountants. Chris DeHoff joined the firm after earning his CPA license — continuing a family tradition that now reaches back to the 1970s. The staff that supports our CPAs has been with the firm for years, not seasons. When you call, someone picks up. When you return next April, the same people are still here.
We have clients who've been with us for more than two decades. Some now bring their children. A few bring their grandchildren. We consider that the clearest possible measure of success.
These aren't marketing ideals. They're the working rules of the practice — the way we run engagements, price our work, and treat our clients.
No rotating staff, no junior handoffs. You work with the same licensed CPAs year after year — by design.
Questions don't wait for April. Neither do we. Proactive planning is the default — tax season is simply when we file.
We explain what we're doing and why. No jargon, no wall of tax code — just the information you need to make a good decision.
The return is the deliverable. The relationship is the practice. We structure everything around the latter.
Two licensed CPAs, three dedicated staff members, and a combined experience that stretches across decades of individual and business accounting.
